Painter I, Painting and Sign Services

Regular, Full-time - MR04

The Facilities Services Department is responsible for the maintenance and operations of all campus facilities which includes buildings, grounds, and utility systems. 

Responsibilities:

This Painter I position job responsibilities include preparing, repairing, and painting walls, buildings, ceilings and other building components across campus. 



Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

Valid Tennessee Driver’s License

High School Education; 3 years’ experience or completion of trade school

Must be able to pass and test for and wear a respirator.

Applicant should be able to prep architectural surfaces, patch and repair.  Also, the applicant should have the ability to roll and brush a variety of paints and finishes, be able to choose proper tools and equipment to finish assignments.  The applicant should be able to lift, climb and work at varying heights.
