As a Lynn employee, you will help us build a better world with our students. Lynn is currently accepting applications for the position of Adjunct Professor - Dance. The Adjunct Professor will be responsible for teaching dance classes in the Bachelor of Fine Arts Musical Theatre Program. The candidate will be responsible for teaching many styles of dance which may include ballet, jazz, modern, contemporary, broadway, tap, hip hop, and others
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Serve as undergraduate faculty in the College of Arts and Sciences
Depending on the candidate's area of expertise, candidate may teach more than one style of dance.
Minimum Qualifications
MFA in Drama, Theatre, Acting, Musical Theatre, Directing, Dance, or other theatrical performance arts equivalent. If candidate does not hold an MFA, candidate may provide equivalent professional experience as justification.
Demonstrated excellence in teaching at the college level.
Extensive professional experience as an actor, director, singer, and/or dancer.
Network of professional colleagues and connections.
Preferably, candidate is still actively working in the industry.
