The ECU Department of Economics (http://www.ecu.edu/econ/) has three undergraduate programs and an M.S. in Quantitative Economics and Econometrics, while participating in interdisciplinary M.S. and Ph.D. programs.

Job Duties :

The Department of Economics at East Carolina University (ECU) invites applicants for a tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor to begin August 16, 2021. Candidates are expected to develop an active research agenda supported by external funding, a commitment to innovative pedagogy, and a strong record of teaching and service to the university, community, and profession. Areas of research of interest to the department include: industrial organization, aviation economics, environmental economics, and resource economics.

Minimum Education/Experience :

Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Economics from an appropriately accredited institution.
