Position Summary

The Department of Food Science and Human Nutrition seeks a fixed term instructor to lead the HNF 844 Management and Professional Skills in Dietetics course. The course meets in the fall term and focuses on dietetics career skills including collaboration, communication, human resources, budgeting, goal setting, and team productivity. This is a fall-only position and is eligible for reappointment.

Position is planned to recur every Fall Semester

Masters -Dietetics, Human Nutrition or related fi

Minimum RequirementsThe successful candidate will minimally possess the following:
  • Demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion in teaching and practice
  • Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with a MS degree in Dietetics, Human Nutrition or related field
  • At least three years of work experience in the dietetics field as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, technology and problem-solving skills
  • Online teaching expertise and experience
Desired QualificationsDesired qualifications include:
  • Experience teaching in higher education
  • Management experience as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
