JOB SUMMARY: Middle Georgia State University (MGA) is seeking candidates for a non-tenure track Lecturer in the Department of Management and Marketing in the School of Business. Teaching responsibilities involves teaching on-campus and online undergraduate and potentially graduate courses in leadership, business management, strategic management, business statistics, human resource management, organizational behavior, quantitative methods, production operations management, and other business courses as needed. Teaching responsibilities may include day and/or evening courses, lower level, upper level business and graduate courses. Travel to satellite campuses (Cochran and Warner Robins) may be required. A strong commitment to outstanding teaching, advising students, and service to the profession and university. This is a ten month position with summer teaching available depending on demand.

QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates must have a master’s degree in a Business related field, with at least 18 graduate hours in a combination of management or marketing, from a regionally accredited institution. Demonstrated teaching experience and excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills. Prior teaching experience; industry experience is a plus.

PREFERRED QUALIFCATIONS: Doctorate (PhD or DBA) in management from an accredited university preferred, with preference for candidates from an AACSB school. Experience in the private or public sector in business management is preferred. Prior teaching experience in business management on-campus and online is preferred. Experience with online, hybrid, and/or other alternative delivery formats.

SALARY: Commensurate with education and experience.
