The Physics Department at Hamilton College invites candidates to apply for a Visiting Assistant Professor position beginning fall 2021.  A PhD in Physics, or related field, is required for this one-year position.  Job responsibilities could include teaching at the introductory, intermediate, and advanced levels, in both classroom and laboratory settings.  We are seeking candidates who can demonstrate their experience in teaching or working with diverse student populations.  Your cover letter should address the ways in which you would further the College's goal of building a diverse and inclusive educational environment.  Applicants should submit a C.V., statements of teaching and research interests, and arrange for submission of three letters of reference to https://apply.interfolio.com/89064.  Questions regarding the search may be directed to Dr. Kate Brown, Search Committee Chair, at [email protected].  Review of materials will begin immediately.
