TheBenefits Administration Specialist is responsible for performing specificfunctions related to the activity of the University of Toledo benefit programs.This position counsels employees regarding routine benefits programs, includinghealth care, retirement, insurance and disability. This position conductsindividual orientation sessions and group benefits reviews and maintainsbenefits records and prepares necessary documents for implementing coverageQualifications:
1.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience in Business, Human Resources or a
field closely related to healthcare benefits.
2.Requires three to five years’ experience with benefits, retirement and group health insurance
3.Knowledge of COBRA, HIPAA, FMLA and State of Ohio benefit rules.
4.Demonstrate proficiency with personal computers, and experience using word processing and
Communication and other skills:
1.Demonstrate proficiency in both written and verbal communications.Working Conditions:
2.Must possess superior interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills.
