The University of Toledo Department of Family Medicine seeks faculty applicants for a full-timeQualifications:
clinical educator track position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Professor. Candidates
should have an interest and expertise in the discipline of ambulatory care. Primary
responsibilities include didactic and experiential teaching, clinical and instructional scholarship,
and service to the department, university, and the profession.
-Ability to collaborate effectively in a team setting.Working Conditions:
-Ability to maintain effective and professional relationships with patient and other members of
the care team.
-Ability to communicate and interact effectively, professionally, and courteously with other
health care professionals, patients, and members of the University community.
-PharmD with residency training in ambulatory care or equivalent clinical experience (5 years).
-Ability to work with patients by telephone or in person.
-Experience working with underserved populations.
-Familiarity with computer-based documentation.
-Demonstrates effective and culturally appropriate communications.
-Utilizes effective communication to provide excellent customer services and a positive public
-Must be able to withstand pressure due to work volume, interruptions, pace, job variety with
an expected degree of accuracy
This position works in a professional clinical and academic office setting.
