Coordinator of Marketing/Game Day Experience

Coastal Carolina University, an NCAA Division I institution, is accepting applications for the position of Coordinator of Marketing/Game Day Experience in Athletics. Primary responsibilities include the oversight of athletics marketing, game day experience, and promotional logistics.

Duties include, but are not limited to: perform duties associated with development, proposing, and implementation of marketing plans for purpose of encouraging increased attendance and enhancing the fan experience for ticketed athletic events; responsible for decisions regarding advertising allocation through purchases and trade agreements to include, but not limited to, television, billboards, radio, and internet display ads; athletic department liaison for development and implementation of on campus marketing efforts; supervise the development of all promotional and event presentation elements used to create a dynamic environment within athletic venues; responsible for collaborating as needed with Corporate Sales, Ticket Operations, Chanticleer Athletic Foundation and Assistant AD/Digital Initiatives for marketing strategies and implementation of strategies; and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications: A bachelor’s degree is required. A master’s degree, experience associated with marketing and/or game day environment duties and a desire to work in an intercollegiate setting are preferred. Experience with Adobe creative suite, video and audio editing capabilities and website content management knowledge are also preferred.
