The Department of Philosophy and the University Center for Human Values at Princeton University have an opening for a one-year term Lecturer to teach two courses per semester and perform undergraduate independent work advising. It is expected that the focus of the courses will be on moral philosophy and ethics. Serving as a course instructor requires leading and attending course lectures/seminars, meeting with the course preceptor(s), holding regular on-campus office hours, grading student exams and papers, and writing unit reports for graduate students. This full-time academic year position is expected to begin on September 1, 2021. Essential Qualifications: Advanced degree in Philosophy or related field required, PhD preferred Prior teaching experience in ethics, moral psychology and bioethics at the college or university level To apply, please submit a cover letter, CV, and contact information for three references.
