Position Description:
UCLA Extension is considered one of the top programs of its kind, offering to more than 35,000 students per year approximately 4,500 classes and non-degree certificate programs to meet the professional development, continuing education and personal enrichment needs of the full spectrum of nontraditional students as well as companies and organizations throughout and beyond the Los Angeles region.

The Administrative Specialist Supervisor (Sr. Administrative Coordinator) reports to the Director and is responsible for planning and coordinating operational, financial, and administrative services for the UNEX Department of Humanities and Sciences. Provides executive level support to the Director in budget and strategic planning matters, financial analysis, and staff and organization management. Provides support for program planning, and financial support to all units within the department. Responsible for supervising administrative staff and part-time student workers, while working collaboratively in the recruitment, hiring, and training processes of respective team members. Serves as office manager by maintaining an effective office environment and office operations, including maintaining adequate office supplies, monitoring proper operations of equipment, handling incoming and outgoing mail; and maintaining proper storage of department documentation. The Administrative Manager generally supports program and department operations and specifically manages budgetary and financial operations.
