Emergency Preparation and Planning

(a) Assists in reviewing, updating and editing the university emergency policies, procedures and handbook; (b) creates and implements emergency action plans, training, and table top exercises; (c) oversees the programming, upkeep and distribution of emergency radios during an EOC setup; (d) assists with the setup and management of the campus emergency and pet shelters; (e) ensures that proper emergency supplies are purchased and updated; (f) oversees the development and creation of emergency materials such as pamphlets, posters, etc., and that proper information is communicated to various departments and entities as needed and directed by the manager; (g) interacts with all areas of campus on emergency planning and preparations; (h) assists in researching and interpreting best practices and State and City & County orders during pandemics and assists with monitoring and supervising contact tracing and recording cases as the need and situation arises, (i) motor pool administrator, setups up employees into the Church motor pool system.

OSHA Health & Safety

(a) Assists to ensure that all appropriate fire and life inspections are completed and recorded in a timely manner; (b) assists to ensure that safety programs and plans are updated, reviewed and that proper training is documented; (c) evaluates and recommends needed changes in processes and procedures in assigned area of responsibility and provide feedback to streamline processes; (d) assist with investigation of work related injuries to ensure timely reporting and resolution; (e) assists with ordering of and maintaining of safety supplies and equipment; (f) assist with environmental tests as needed.

Training, Supervision, Other

(a) Assist in developing and implementing training campus wide which are but not limited to emergency preparedness, defensive and cart driving, respirator, etc.; (b) supervise students in helping them to

accomplished tasks in their assigned areas in the department; (c) resolve issues between students as they arise; (d) communicate changes in emergency and safety procedures to the campus ohana; (e) participates in various campus meetings involving emergency and safety issues; (f) manages and updates the safety website; (g) oversees the safety department when manager is not in the office; (h) performs other tasks as assigned by the manager.
