Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job:

The position involves teaching undergraduate level courses, supervising the college internship program, and assisting with other student experiential learning opportunities.
The successful candidate is expected to teach a wide range of courses within the criminal justice field. In addition, the successful candidate would have relevant teaching and/or practical experience in areas such as victimology, family violence, child abuse, or related courses.
The position is a nine-month appointment, renewable annually. Also, the position has the potential of being paid full-time in the summer with a combination of teaching and coordinating the internship program (depending on need).

Educational Requirements for the Position:

A Master’s degree in criminal justice or a related social science field is required.

Experience Required for the Position:

College or University level teaching experience is preferred.
