Job Description:


The Dean of Student Success is responsible for the development, implementation, management and evaluation of the Roxbury Community College enrollment, academic support, accessibility services, student engagement, athletics and social service supports. The Dean is responsible for managing the due process procedures for student code of conduct issues, Title IX issues, NJCAA compliance.


ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive enrollment management plan.


Lead the development and implementation of services which support the open access mission of Roxbury Community College.


Develop strategies to reduce barriers to student access, retention and completion.


Ensure implementation of all provisions of collective bargaining agreements for all staff in the division.


Manage restricted and unrestricted budgets in compliance with Board Policies, state and federal law.


Lead the evaluation of all programs and services in the division to ensure compliance with state and federal regulating agencies; external accrediting organizations; and best practices in higher education.


Maintain an ongoing divisional plan with annual goals and objectives.


Represent divisional concerns and needs to the Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs.


Participate in community activities, including advisory boards, to ensure relevance of college services.


Engage in professional develop to maintain and develop areas of professional expertise.


Demonstrate support for the college staff diversity plan.


Perform other duties as assigned.



Requirements:


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS


Master's Degree in related discipline.


Three years professional work experience in higher education administration.


Demonstrated success in managing student supportive services, student life and/or athletics.


Expertise in conflict resolution.


Excellent communications skills written and verbal.


Ability to work cooperatively in a multicultural setting.


Excellent computer skills including, Microsoft Office, CMR, SMS.



Additional Information:


This is a full-time Non-Unit Professional (NUP) position, with full benefits.


All candidates must have legal authorization to work in the U.S.


Compensation: Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.
