Job DescriptionTo process and evaluate student records, applications and other data for purposes of admission to the University. Make decisions regarding admission of students as allowed under campus requirements and authority delegated.
Duties:
- Receive, review and evaluate applications, transcripts and other information relating to request for admission to the University.
- Correspond or communicate directly with applicants and students to advise them of their eligibility status, actions required to qualify for admission or to provide requested information.
- Make decisions regarding routine admission to the University following established guidelines.
- Advise undergraduate students regarding degree program requirements, scholastic and probation procedures, and transferable credits from other schools, petition requests, and related admissions topics.
- Answer varied and complex questions in the area of Admissions.
- Maintain student records accompanying application for admission files.
- Data entry and data hygiene in relation to admission operations
- At times, assist in admission procedures and special recruitment events
- Perform related duties as assigned.
A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
