The Department of Computer Science and Engineering offers bachelors, masters, and doctoral level education leading to the appropriate degrees in Artificial Intelligence, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Engineering, and Information Technology.

The Computer Science & Engineering Department at the University of North Texas is seeking to hire an Office Support Associate to join our team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: * Acts as Departmental Outreach Personnel on Social Media Accounts and during summer camps. * Assist and support departmental accreditation efforts. * Prepares, formats and posts monthly newsletter. * Communicates with Industrial Advisory Board members. * Communicates and assists with student scholarship and outstanding student awards. * Assists with data reporting. * Provides administrative support to chair, faculty, and other administrative staff. * Completes department travel processing and purchasing, as needed. * Completes other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma and three years of moderately responsible and varied office administration or business management experience; or any equivalent combination of experience, education, and training.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Advanced customer service skills. Preferred Qualifications:
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of accounting/budgeting procedures.
• Ability to work under pressure, to adjust to constant changes, to handle multiple tasks, and to coordinate the work of others.
• Ability to keep complex records, to assemble and organize data of complex nature, and to prepare and submit reports in acceptable formats.

Determines work procedures and methods in accordance with standard trade practices and departmental standards. Responsible for operations of the HELP Lab to ensure that each station is ready and that signage is posted at the beginning of each semester.o:
