This position will provide support to the Employer Engagement team in Career Services by overseeing the university-wide student and alumni job board, reserving on-campus interview rooms and assisting employers with schedules, supporting the career closet initiative, and providing general support to triage employer recruiting needs as well as some administrative and clerical support to the department.
Successful candidates will be expected to demonstrate an understanding and commitment to justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion in the delivery of all programs and services.Job Duties:
•Review and moderate the university-wide student and alumni job board by conducting a strong research process to evaluate employer connections and job/internship postings. Job Open Date:
•Respond to emails and phone calls from employers inquiring about the status of their job postings. Troubleshoot posting errors for employers.
•Think strategically about job posting policies and how to apply them within the university-wide student and alumni job board.
•Provide updates for weekly, monthly, and annual reports or meetings to the career services team.
•Support the student workers and graduate assistant in managing the operations of the career closet.
•Oversee employer interview room reservations and scheduling.
•Assist in the preparation of various employer engagement events.
•Assist in managing the routine operation of the department: answer telephone, screen, and transfer calls, coordinate meetings; monitor inventory, and order office supplies.
•Maintain exceptional communication with students, alumni, employers, faculty, and staff.
•Provide backup for career events budgets, payments, and review purchasing documents.
•Provide administrative support to the office staff and other duties as assigned.
