Required Qualifications: Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position.:

-High School Diploma/GED
-Experience performing secretarial/administrative duties (or related experience)
-Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
-Experience in Customer service
-Ability to work in a collaborative environment and work independently
-Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint etc.)
-Ability to organize and prioritize responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications:

-Experience working in an academic (university/school) setting
-Experience with multi-line telephone
-Provide support to a large group of people
-Experience with Adobe Sign, Zoom and Teams
-Basic understanding of SAP, BANNER INB, CatsWeb
-Experience using website/online social media platforms (Facebook or Twitter)
-Basic understanding of Travel Tracks or related experience with state travel reimbursements
-Experience working with confidential information

Job Description:

Responsible for providing administrative and general clerical support to management/staff within assigned division/department or unit.

Job Duties:

-Provide administrative support to faculty, staff and students
-Answer telephone inquiries, transfer calls to appropriate office, greet walk-ins
-Collect course syllabi, office hours, maintain emergency contact list
-Assist with undergraduate admissions
-Assist with student registration, process overrides and check roster
-Create purchase orders, marketplace and PCard orders for supplies and equipment
-Process invoices and reconcile expenditures
-Assist with hiring paperwork and supervise student employees
-Submit textbook requests
-Process and prepare travel requests and expense reports
-Assist in coordinating various activities and events within the department.
-Prepare meeting minutes
-Create flyers, online forms and proofread correspondences
-Maintain dept and clinic websites
-Collect and distribute mail
-Open and close office at set times
-Provide Administrative support in the clinic office when needed
-Establish and maintain a welcoming office environment
-Other duties as assigned
