This position directly supervises approximately 25 employees including Transportation Shop Foreman Supervisor, Transportation Shop Vehicle Mechanics Staff, Transportation Operations Shuttle Supervisor, Transportation Operations Shuttle Staff, Transportation Office Staff, and oversees the entire Transportation Department.Minimum Qualifications (Classified and Unclassified positions):
The position is critical in maintaining operations of our 700 vehicles and coordination of fleet replacements and sustainability for all 8 campuses.
Continue to support and contribute to the overall success of Parking and Transportation Services.
Master’s degree in related field and 6 years related program experience, or bachelor’s degree and 8 years related experience.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to demonstrate commitment to diversity and the ability to establish and maintain positive and collaborative working relationships with individuals, and teams, based on respect, honesty, and collegiality with all constituencies. Effective problem-solver. Skill set to manage and oversee the office administrative needs of Vehicle Management, analyze reports and proposals for management decision-making.
