The Senior Associate Director, Graduate Admissions manages the direct recruitment and enrollment of candidates for the Fox School of Business graduate programs, with a specific focus on the MBA, PhD and DBA programs. The incumbent is accountable for the recruitment of multiple programs and collaborates with the Director of Graduate Admissions to ensure that the target enrollments for the assigned programs are achieved. Directly assists the Director of Graduate Admissions in managing the recruitment process and the delivery of information sessions, presentations, and customized promotional events on-campus and off-campus across all MBA and doctoral programs. Manages a team of 2-3 full-time Associate/Assistant Directors and 2-3 student/part-time employees. Responsible for achieving the strategic goals of enrollment. Establishes additional goals regarding student quality, monitors progress and provides direction and guidance to aid in employee productivity and efficiency. Tightly coordinates functions to establish priorities, ensure consistency and safeguard compliance, while resolving potential problems and addressing issues as they arise. Trains staff as needed. Conducts information session presentations as well as assists in developing off-campus recruiting strategies for domestic school/college fairs and events. Responsible for assessing prospective candidate leads, and building and maintaining relationships with candidates that span across the enrollment timeline, from inquiry to registration. Responsible for working directly with Director of Graduate Admissions to develop, set, and implement larger cross-program recruitment strategies aimed at enrollment for the overall graduate programs in Fox. Represents the Admissions unit externally and within the Fox School - works closely with the Marketing, Student Experience and Programs teams to devise new and innovative tactics to generate and convert quality leads into enrolled students. Performs other duties as assigned. Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree and at least five (5) years of professional experience, at least three of which within enrollment management, recruitment, or directly related field. Demonstrated sales, recruitment, corporate engagement experience. Experience working within a CRM environment to manage prospect/lead/corporate relationships. MBA and experience with Banner, EnrollmentRX, and/or Salesforce preferred. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. Requires Skills and Abilities:
- Requires high level of interpersonal skills.Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds, both in the US and internationally on a daily basis.Demonstrated ability to speak in front of large and small groups, as in delivering information sessions, lectures, or speaking at industry-specific conferences or trade shows.Demonstrated proficiency in computer systems and various software applications used in sales, recruiting and/or admissions (including Microsoft Office programs, constituent relationship management and student information systems).Demonstrated success with the achievement of enrollment goals and the ability to use a counseling-based approach for the recruitment of new students. Track progress towards goals and undertake activities that support the achievement of those goals.
