VOL SHOP - Distribution Associate

$12.00 hr, Seasonal Employment scheduled through December- 2021

JOB SUMMARY:

This position will perform the duties of loading and unloading merchandise on trucks. The majority of the unloading and loading is by hand. This position will also learn to operate a forklift and pallet jack to load and unload skids of merchandise. There are other duties such as verification of merchandise and sorting boxes by purchase order number. This position will be working in the VolShop warehouse on Middlebrook Pike.

WORK PERFORMED:

Performs loading and unloading trucks from various trucking companies. The majority of the merchandise will be loaded and unloaded by hand. Freight will be unloaded with a pallet jack or forklift.

Sorts boxes by purchase order number and performing a box count. Verifying that it is the VolShop’s merchandise and designating the merchandise to a specific store location. May need to work weekends for Tennessee home football games.


 



Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: High School graduate--required.

Must be able to lift up to 20Ibs

            Preferred warehouse experience but not required.
