Advancement Assistant III

 

The University of Tennessee, Knoxville Office of Corporate and Foundation Engagement seeks a motivated individual to serve as the Advancement Assistant III. This position reports to the Senior Director of Advancement and will support the current team of 3 in items which include travel coordination, calendar scheduling and oversight, travel planning and reimbursement, processing of awards, budget and accounting assistance, recognition and stewardship efforts, management of annual report and other external materials, database management and staff meeting coordination.  The Advancement Assistant III will help prepare for site visits including companies and foundation representatives as well as other UT offices and external partners

At the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, the UT Foundation provides engagement opportunities for alumni through networking and community events, and works hand-in-hand with the campus on their priorities to improve undergraduate and graduate education for more than 30,500 students and support for faculty and staff with over 900 programs of study.

Qualifications
Qualifications

A high school diploma with 4+ years office experience, or an associate’s degree and/or business/technical school graduate with 3+ years office experience is required.  Skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Publisher) are also required. Working knowledge of ANDI and IRIS system is preferred. Ability to handle multiple projects with short and long-term deadlines is a necessity.  The ideal candidate will be efficient, collaborative and well organized.

 Experience working with faculty, grant documents and event logistics is preferred.  The ideal candidate will be highly supportive of and committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
