This postdoc position is expected to: a) conduct cutting edge research and development on ultrasound transducer deveice development and applications; b) help manage the lab, supervise graduate and undergraduate students; and c) write technical papers and assist technical proposal writing.Other Work/Responsibilities:
Monday-Friday 8 AM-5 PM; Hours may vary 26 weeks totalDepartment Required Skills:
The position requires fundamental understanding and competent experimental skills of ultrasound device development, ultrasound therapy and drug delivery, and ultrasound imaging. Strong hands-on experiences on transducer array design, fabrication and characterization, and ultrasound therapy are desired.Preferred Years Experience, Skills, Training, Education:
A PhD degree in Physics, Biophysics, Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science and Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, with ultrasound transducer experience would fit very well.Required License or Certification:
