Job Description POSITION OBJECTIVE
- Perform specific experiments under supervision. 65%Communicate research objectives, studies and results. 10%Assist with research report preparation. 5%Will have coursework and developmental activities. 20%
Experience: 0 to 3 months. Applicant must be accepted in the CWRU PREP program in order to apply for this position.
Education/Licensing: High school education required; bachelor’s degree preferred.REQUIRED SKILLS
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.Good interpersonal skills; ability to work and communicate with various individuals within the department, school and university, and with individuals outside the university. Good organization skills; ability to multi-task, prioritize and give attention to detail in order to complete tasks and meet deadlines.Ability to work effectively independently and within a team.Ability to work with sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.Ability to learn and apply new ideas, processes, policies, functions, etc. Ability to problem-solve as needed. Ability to follow-through on assigned projects and provide timely follow-up as needed. Technical competence with software programs such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), database applications, and with internet navigation. Ability to learn and apply software programs and applications as needed.Ability to meet consistent attendance.Ability to interact with colleagues, supervisors and customers face to face.
