Job Summary Facilitate the monitoring, analysis and change management of critical business processes to ensure alignment with project and Institute objectives associated with ERP Program services. Provide liaison services between functional user and technical systems groups in the development or modification of typically complex information systems. Lead in definition of user business requirements and assure they are appropriately addressed in application implementation. Redefine business processes to maximize application usage as required. This position will interact on a regular basis with: Unit senior leadership, data stewards, system owners, Technology Governance Committee, Cyber Security, and Enterprise Info Systems.

Responsibilities
    Lead and coordinate with project management staff, analysts, and report writers to ensure business processes and project initiatives are aligned with the overall strategy of the projectFacilitate project planning activities associated with prioritized projects, including working with project support functional and project teams to define goals, objectives, scope, schedule estimates.Document functional requirements to leverage the ERP system and related business impacts and process improvement opportunities, as well as security related considerations, and obtain functional stakeholder sign-off. Provide artifacts (same data, reports, polices, and requirements) to assist in the design and documentation of current or future-state business processes.Document business, system, and data requirements and system integration opportunities, and related end user training and change management activities. Understand current and document future state business processes and work with team to simplify and improve based on ERP delivered functionality.Lead in the development and execution of testing strategy and results of system and/or business process changes. Document use cases and testing cases to support requirements and verify functionality of system design and data needs. Assist in the development and execution of validation strategy for data converted into the defined solution.Advise project team and stakeholders of the health of critical business processes impacted by project initiatives.Ensure issues are captured, monitored, and resolved and provide communications link between user, technical, and QA groups.Prepare reports and other documentation related to project assignments.Provide ongoing user support including troubleshooting and resolution of more complex system issues.Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications Educational Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience

This position may require work outside of normal business hours.

Required Experience
Five to seven years of job related experience

Project Management Professional (PMP), SCRUM, and Business Process Management (BPM)

    3-5 years of experience in a higher education environment with a functional or technical background in Business Services, Procure to Pay, Travel & Expense and Business Assets is preferredPrevious technical ERP system experience in Workday Financials as a process area lead, project manager, or business/system analystOther ERP financial system experience with on-premise or cloud PeopleSoft financialsDemonstrated skill in written and oral communication and effective presentation skills to a wide range of users business owners and executives
