  • Position Description:

    This Postdoctoral Fellow will be primarily responsible for designing and conducting experiments related to this lab’s NIH grants, which seek to understand the role of TRPV4 mechanical signaling in coronary (and pathological) angiogenesis and cardiac remodeling. This Postdoctoral Fellow is expected to conduct experiments and data analysis in an independent way, choose procedures appropriate for data acquisition, and be able to make independent judgements concerning experimental design and needed modifications to experimental protocols as well as troubleshooting

    Qualifications:

    Education/experience/licensing:
    • Ph.D. required.
    • 4-5 years laboratory experience required.
    Communication and other skills:
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively communicate with other laboratory
    workers.
    • Must be motivated and capable of working independently as well as collaboratively.
    • Must be computer literate with knowledge of data analysis and graphic programs.
