TheAssistant Men’s Baseball Coach is responsible for assisting in the overallmanagement of the Men’s Baseball program. This position is responsible for assisting the Head Men’s Baseball Coachin all aspects of practice and competition preparation, recruitment of studentathletes, and the comprehensive operation of the program with student athlete welfareas a guiding principle. Management of the program must adhere to all budgetaryguidelines, as well as NCAA, Mid American Conference (MAC) and University ofToledo policies. This position isexpected to help manage a team that is highly competitive within the MAC.
TheAssistant Men’s Baseball Coach is responsible for adhering to compliance,policies and procedures of the Athletic Department, University of Toledo, NCAAand MAC.
Qualifications/Knowledge,Skills & Abilities (Indicate minimum required to qualifyor perform this job.)
Bachelor’s degree required.
Minimum of 2 years of Baseball coaching, or equivalent experience.
Communications and other skills:
Ability to effectively communicate and counsel student-athletes on requirements for personal conduct, academic performance and athletic performance.
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Demonstrate professional conduct and ethical behavior.
Ability to comply with all policies and regulations of the University, MAC and NCAA.
