TemporaryEssential Job Duties:
The I-9 Processor has a primary focus on ensuring compliance with Form I-9 and E-Verify regulations. This position will become a subject matter expert in the areas of Form I-9 and E-Verify employment eligibility verification and related federal compliance requirements, as well as with the University’s electronic I-9 system, I-9 Guardian by LawLogix. This position is responsible for reviewing and helping correct electronic I-9 forms in the system, and will directly liaise with I-9 system Users across campus to assist in timely and proper completion and correction of any forms that contain errors or issues.Is Time Limited:

40 hrs a weekOther Work/Responsibilities:
Reviewing the I-9 dashboard daily/continuously to review I-9 forms that have been marked as “completed” by campus I-9 Users. Catching mistakes, having corrections made and then marking I-9 forms “approved” to electronically push them into the E-Verify system. Assisting campus I-9 Users by answering basic questions regarding federal I-9 requirements, and also providing basic assistance regarding how to use the I-9 system itself and how to correct mistakes.Minimum Experience/Education:
Associate’s Degree and one year of experience in a Human Resources related field; or equivalent combination of training and experience.Department Required Skills:
Knowledge of Form I-9 and E-Verify laws, regulations, rules and best practices.
Experience handling confidential material in a professional manner.
Ability to quickly master a wide range of University and State policies and practices, as well as DHS, USCIS, DOJ/IER and SSA regulations and requirements.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to handle high volume of work with accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Technical aptitude and ability to learn software applications and electronic tools and processes quickly.
Direct prior experience using the I-9 Guardian electronic I-9 system.
Prior experience compiling and reporting metrics, specifically those related to HR.
Prior HR system experience (PeopleSoft, etc.)
