09-Jun-2021 Close All Job SummaryWe are searching for two Temporary Research Assistants who will assist Assistant Professor/PI Katherine Lininger in conducting research for an NSF-funded project "Collaborative Research: Network Cluster: quantifying Controls and feedback of dynamic storage on critical zone processes in western Montane watersheds".

  • Conduct literature reviews
  • Gather sources
  • Complete other research work for the critical zone research projects indicated by the supervisor
  • Research activities will include fieldwork, remote sensing work, writing scoping documents, and learning and installing research equipment.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in the use of Microsoft Suite and Google Drive Applications with advanced proficiency in Google Sheets or Excel.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as on a team.
  • Excellence in establishing work priorities, providing follow-through, and meeting established deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain effective lines of communication including the ability to resolve conflict and negotiate.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality with sensitive information.
