Salary: $4,700 - $11,717 monthly
As a member of the Application Services team, the Application Developer designs, develops, tests, and integrates moderate to complex application solutions primarily focusing on Business and Faculty applications. The Application Developer collaborates with team members to conduct thorough analyses of customer requirements, produces detailed design specifications and develops reliable application code to deliver application solutions to customers across the enterprise. The incumbent prepares technical documentation, provides ongoing support, and participates in full life-cycle development activities including moderately complex technical design, programming, unit and integration testing. The incumbent works in a full stack developer capacity, developing both front-end user interfaces and back-end services. Provides after-hours support as needed or assigned.
Additional responsibilities include conducting research of emerging technologies and industry practices; making recommendations regarding best practices and technologies for adoption, and providing input to continual improvement activities for assigned projects. The Application Developer also partners with product owners, business analysts and subject matter experts to develop business and functional requirements and propose application solutions. Incumbent works closely with Product owner to prioritize the work. The developer will also validate new features and concepts with users using various means from conceptual prototypes and focus groups to analyzing actual product usage patterns. Provides after-hours support as needed or assigned.
