The Boston University School of Public Health seeks to find a part time Admissions Assistant to assist the Admissions Office in all processes and responsibilities in yielding both a Spring and Fall cohort into the School of Public Health as advised by the Senior Director of Admissions. Overall responsibilities would include working with the admissions director and admissions team in the processing of applications, overseeing the asksph email box and the Admissions voicemail box, helping to assign work to the graduate students, and helping with the planning and execution of both on campus and virtual events. Other duties as assigned.Required Skills
Bachelor's degree preferred, Associate/Vocational/Technical degree required.
1-3 years of experience required.
We would require the Admissions Assistant to have a general understanding of the graduate admissions cycle, software/systems involved with that cycle, general knowledge of our SPH programs/certificates and the application process in order to answer phone and email inquiries. Previous admissions officer experience would be preferred but not required.
