This position supports the development and implementation of research in the Division of Vascular Surgery. The Visiting Researcher will perform research-related duties, as needed, on numerous projects within the Division’s research portfolio including participating in publication review, writing peer-reviewed publications, reviewing and analyzing clinical database/patient EHR, assisting with clinical trials, and developing research protocols. There will be no direct patient care or contact.Salary and Benefits:The salary range (or hiring range) has been established at $38,000 to $42,000.The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialty and training. Minimum Qualifications:
- MD is required
- Documented original research publications in peer-reviewed journals, including publications where the applicant is listed as first and/or last author.
- Statistics experience
- Prior research experience related to vascular surgery
- Experience with Strata and/or Redcap
- Training in vascular surgical procedures
- Demonstrated skills in problem solving and working collaboratively and effectively with other members of a research team
