Responsibilities

Position is responsible for creating, updating and maintaining the college’s website, while ensuring it is appropriately optimized to draw quality web traffic. Additionally, position provides monthly analytical reports and other technical support within the college.

Create websites, webpages and forms for the College of Business, along with editing, updating and maintaining the college’s website and ensuring its website. Works seamlessly on mobile devices as well. Responsible for actively soliciting updates for the web prior to each semester beginning. Perform technical audits and site analysis regularly and ensure the website meets all accessibility requirements. Expediently problem-solve identified issues with website functionality and digital reporting. Ensure website is optimized to draw quality web traffic from search engines. Serve as the liaison with FSU IT to communicate issues and information regarding the college’s website. Stay up to date on trends and best practices for websites.

Work on digital campaigns, including Google Ads and other initiatives, driving web traffic. Develop and provide monthly statistical reports and analysis for all campaigns. Provide monthly analytic report, on the college’s overall website, along with a detailed summary of findings. Keep current with best practices in digital analytics and optimization.

Manage, update and schedule content on the college's five digital signs, which includes the wayfinding function. Ensure weekly that signage is properly functioning and resolve any issues. Update back-up person on any changes/upgrades to the system as needed.

Serve as the main contact for the college’s calendar, which includes uploading information to the calendar within a 24-hour period of receiving information.

Handle any special projects as requested.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and two years of related experience or a high school diploma/equivalency and six years of related experience. (Note: or a combination of post high education and experience equal to six years.)

Knowledge and experience in electronic media, including social media platforms.

Experience with website creation.

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.

Ability to prioritize, organize and perform multiple work assignments simultaneously.

Knowledge of data analysis techniques and methodology.

Knowledge of the principles and practices of project planning, development, and evaluation.

Preferred

Experience with Drupal is preferred.
