Experience training others and the ability to convey technical information to technical and non-technical users.Knowledge of and the ability to strategically align tasks and people with organizational goals and objectives. Ability to develop and implement policies, procedures, goals, and objectives. Knowledge of purchasing, procurement, budgeting, and administrative management. Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships. Knowledge of the concepts, principles, and practices of management. Preferred Masters of Library Science or equivalent from an ALA accredited program. (preferred but not required)Minimum of four to five years of recent professional experience in academic library.Systems-level experience with an integrated library automation system and web-based library services such as Ex Libris Alma/Analytics/Primo VE.Expertise in system database structures and library automation related, such as SQL Developer or other report writing tool.Knowledge of Unix, Oracle, XML, and client/server applications within a high level, complex, large-scale multi-user computing environment.University Information
