The University of Evansville announces a non-tenure-track position for a clinical assistant professor of Music Therapy, beginning August 2021.

Primary duties include coordinating and supervising all levels of clinical practica,teaching music therapy core courses, advising, and recruiting. Additional teaching will be assigned based on the successful candidate’s qualifications and department needs. Academic advising and service are expected.

The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to help shape the formation of a new on-campus Music Therapy clinic. Masters degree required (doctorate or ABD preferred) and board certified required. A minimum of three years professional full-time clinical experience is preferred. Teaching experience at the university level or experience as an internship director is desirable. Applicants must possess a valid driver’s license, proof of auto insurance, and reliable transportation.
