Position Summary:

Florida Atlantic University is seeking a Coordinator, Educational/Training Programs, Pine Jog Environmental Education Center, West Palm Beach, FL.

Summary of Responsibilities Include:

  • Assists with all aspects of environmental education programming and staff development.
  • Supports curriculum and program development, instruction coordination and fundraising. This includes, but is not limited to, residential programming, professional development, and overseeing grants and projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science from an accredited institution in Biology, Environmental Science, Education, or related field and two years of work experience in a scientific laboratory setting, preferably with plant micro-propagation procedures required.

Master degree in related field preferred.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential to success in this position.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.

Must also have excellent customer service, organizational and time management skills.

Monday – Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. Some weekends and evenings required as needed.
