Primary Function:This position will serve as the Director of the College of Health and Human Sciences Survey Research Lab (CHHS-SRL) reporting to the Associate Dean for Research and Administration or designee. The Director will have administrative responsibility for the SRL unit within the College of Health and Human Sciences.
Duties and Responsibilities (generally):This position will serve as the Director of the College of Health and Human Sciences Survey Research Lab (CHHS-SRL) reporting to the Associate Dean for Research and Administration or designee. The Director will have administrative responsibility for the SRL unit within the College of Health and Human Sciences.
Minimum Required Qualifications for this position:1.Bachelor’s degree in social science or related discipline.
2.Three years of full-time professional work experience, which includes one year of experience with survey research and experience with HIPAA compliance, in the management of research projects and research data safety and monitoring processes including human subjects policies and practices.
3.One year of full-time professional work experience in a supervisory role.
4.Demonstrated professional work experience managing budgets.
5.Demonstrated professional experience working with underrepresented populations.
Education and Experience Preferred:1. Master’s degree in social sciences or related discipline.
2. Demonstrated capability in the use of Computer-Assisted-Telephone-Interviewing software system.
3. Five years of experience in the management/design of survey research projects
4. Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently in oral and written formats.
5. Additional knowledge and skills: proficient with common business computer applications such as Outlook, MS Word, Excel, Access, etc.

Minimum Pay Rate (Hourly or Monthly):$4166.67 per month
Hiring Rate Information:Actual hiring rate is commensurate with experience, education, and internal equity; position includes a robust benefits package to eligible applicants.
