Position Description Summary:

The Operations Management and Information Systems (OM&IS) Department in the College of Business at Northern Illinois University is seeking to fill an instructor position. Candidates who have an interest in engaging with industry, are committed to student success, understand and embrace diversity in all its forms, interact and work effectively with peers within and across all areas of business and beyond, have capabilities to teach courses with an experiential learning orientation will find the NIU College of Business a great fit for their professional growth. Candidates must be comfortable teaching MIS topics such as System Analysis & Design, Data Analytics, Programming, and Networking at both the undergraduate and graduate levels and be available to teach up to 24 credit hours per academic year.

Required Qualifications:

Master’s degree or higher in OM&IS or related field.

Preferred Qualifications:

At least 2 years of recent related work experience.
