Position Description:
The incumbent is responsible for managing all funds in the Department of English and Writing Programs (which includes ESL and the Undergraduate Writing Center) including fund control and financial projections. Collectively, English and Writing Programs make up one of the largest departments in the College with a combined budget of over $22 million. The Business Office is currently staffed by the incumbent and two Administrative Specialists. Responsibilities include maintaining current and historical data, providing current balance reporting and financial projections, assist in establishing fiscal policies and procedures. Hire, train, evaluate and assign work to accounting assistants.
