This is skilled technical work involving operating, installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing building electrical systems and components to include electrical components in other building systems (HVAC, communications, security, plumbing, lighting, etc.).Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies:
Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical circuits.
Ability to understand electric circuit diagrams, blueprints, and equipment manuals and use same to troubleshoot system problems, make repairs, and install new components.
Ability to use electric diagnostic test equipment and tools of the electrical trade.
*Do manual laboring work in adverse weather conditions (both hot and cold temperatures).
*Work from a ladder or bucket truck.
*Lift 75 lbs consistently throughout work shift, extensive climbing, balancing, stooping, bending, and squatting, and working with hands above the shoulders.
