The University of Virginia is a highly competitive Division I program committed to academic and athletic excellence. The Department of Athletics at the University of Virginia is now accepting applications for the position of Operations Assistant to support the Men's Soccer program.
This position exists to provide a high level of operational and logistical support to the Men's Soccer program and to assist in achieving a nationally recognized program, both on and off the field, in a manner that meets all guidelines set by the University of Virginia, the ACC, and the NCAA. Responsibilities include: exemplary customer service to internal and external constituencies; providing operational and logistical support to the Head Men's Soccer Coach, coaching staff, and student-athletes, as requested; supporting operational and game day needs; providing game day technical support; preparing statistical spreadsheets and performing other analytics; and performing other duties as assigned that support or add value to, the goals and objectives of the unit.
Anticipated Compensation: $15.00/hour

Education: High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
Experience: Working knowledge of and familiarity with collegiate Men's Soccer is required.
Licensure: Valid driver's license and Level 1 Prozone certification preferred.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Ability to be flexible in terms of work schedule to accommodate the gameday and events schedule. Ability to prepare spreadsheets, provide information and perform operational functions. Ability to communicate accurately and in an effective manner - spoken and written. Ability to develop good working relationships with all internal and external constituencies. Knowledge of NCAA rules and regulations for the sport of Men's Soccer is highly preferred.
Computer Applications: Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel) is required. Experience utilizing SportsCode, Prozone, InStat, and/or Coaches Paint applications is highly preferred.
