  • Position Description:

    The EMS Instructor is a part-time position located on the HSC Campus Collier Building at The University of Toledo and teaches in the classroom, laboratory, and clinical settings. Under the direction of the EMS Program Director or EMS Program Coordinator the EMS Instructor is responsible for preparing and assisting in didactic, and laboratory skills education that parallels the NHTSA, Ohio Office of EMS, and National Standards curriculum.


    -Minimum of three years' work experience in EMS
    -Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
    -Working knowledge/utilization of word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation software applications
    -Current Ohio EMS Instructor

    -Excellent oral and written communication skills are required.
    -Excellent organizational skills are required
    -Exceptional computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office are required.
    -Excellent problem solving are required.
    -Must have the ability to, as well as meet the requirements to complete and maintain mandatory training per the University mandatory training policy pursuant to the deadlines set forth therein.
