University Advancement Administration Financial Analyst Job Number Full/Part Time Schedule Salary 23440481 Full Time 8AM - 5PM $61,600 - $121,200 Position Information Reporting to the Director, University Advancement (UA) Budget and Operations, the UA Administration Financial Analyst (UAAFA) is responsible for working with UA departments to reconcile monthly budget reports, prepare projections based on actual events and variance reports, and provide cost benefit and trend analyses. The incumbent manages UA payroll and reconciles UA payroll reports. The UAAFA provides support to the Alumni Association by preparing financial reports, conducting analysis, participating in the annual audit, as well as tracking and funding Alumni Association scholarships. The budgeted amount for this position is up to $80,000. Education Education Requirements Degree Requirement Bachelor's degree in related area and/or equivalent experience/training. Experience Experience Requirement Demonstrated experience with compiling an annual budget, budget management and forecasting. Preferred 4 - 7 years of related experience. Required

Minimum Requirements Has ability to independently gather required information, organize, and perform financial analysis assignments.
Proven ability to use spreadsheet and database software for complex financial analysis, fiscal management and financial reports.
Thorough knowledge of finance policies, practices and systems.
Proven interpersonal skills with peers throughout the organization; service orientation; critical thinking; attention to detail; ability to multi-task in a high volume environment, organizational skills.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities.
Ability to present information in a clear and concise manner both in writing and verbally.
Ability to function as a member of a team.
Advanced skills using Microsoft Office Suite applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
Demonstrated experience in designing quantitative presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint.
Demonstrated ability to manipulate complex data.
Demonstrated experience with project management. Ability to work independently and follow through on project completion.

Preferred Qualifications Thorough knowledge and understanding of internal control practices and their impact on protecting University resources.
