Financial Aid Assistant, Temporary
Coastal Carolina University is accepting applications for the following temporary position: Financial Aid Assistant in the Financial Aid and Scholarships Office. This position assists Financial Aid and Scholarships during the peak season summer through fall.
Duties include, but are not limited to: reviewing and imaging documents submitted to the financial aid office, assisting students, answering and returning phone calls, conducting outbound telephone campaigns, student loan processing and any other duties as assigned.
Requirements: A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) and experience in customer service and professional office setting required. A bachelor’s degree is preferred. A successful candidate must possess strong oral and written communication skills.

A willingness to assist current and prospective students and their families in financing a college education is essential. Must have the ability to read and effectively interpret policy and regulations. Understands priorities and delivers projects on time. Cooperation with other departments and adaptability are required.
