Drew University is seeking an Adjunct Professor for the Sociology Department. We are looking for someone to teach a section of Introduction to Sociology as well as an intermediate-level course on Contemporary Issues in Sociology that focus on a particular topic or area of the instructor’s expertise that is likely to draw enrollments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach a section of Introduction to Sociology as well as an intermediate-level course on Contemporary Issues in Sociology.
• Coordinate with the Chair of Sociology in developing course syllabi and requirements.
• Be passionate about teaching in a liberal arts setting.

Required Education and Experience:

• PhD in Sociology or currently enrolled in a PhD graduate program in Sociology.
• Have previous experience teaching an undergraduate course in Sociology.
