Drew University’s Office of Student Engagement is seeking two part-time Hall Directors. This is a part time (25 hours a week), twelve-month, live-in position. The Hall Director manages a residential community’s day-to-day community development initiatives in an effort to create a residential living and learning community for the students living on campus. Responsible for assigned after-hours/weekend/holiday on-call duties on a rotational basis to address any campus emergencies. It is expected that the individual in this position is on-campus for more than just assigned duty time in order to build community. This position is categorized as an essential employee and while flexibility will be provided as approved by the supervisor, reporting to work in-person is required of this position.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manages a Residence Hall’s day-to-day community development initiatives.
• Provides crisis intervention/assessments to students in need through an on-call emergency response rotation.
• This position supports the planning and coordination of Residence Life & Student Engagement initiatives, and serves on department committees as assigned by the supervisor.
• This position supports campus-wide programs and events.

Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree is required. Master’s Degree in Higher Education, Student Affairs, or a related field is preferred. Minimum one year of experience in a related field is required.
