Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field
  • Five years of full time professional experience in Internal Controls or Internal Auditing dealing with risk and controls, or implementation of compliance across large organizations
  • Project management experience driving change management in a diverse, decentralized environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify process improvement opportunities and work with cross-functional representatives in helping to facilitate implementation.
  • Ability to analyze and summarize quantitative data in order to identify issues or opportunities, trends, common themes, exceptions, variances, etc.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact, collaborate and partner with all levels to demonstrate the rationale and benefits of the internal control related initiatives.
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to independently manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent working knowledge of Excel & other Microsoft Office Suite programs
  • Ability to clearly & effectively express self in written & oral communication;
Position Description:
This position will be responsible for helping drive related internal control improvement initiatives across the college to help improve the reliability, effectiveness, efficiency and compliance of financial related processes.

Essential Functions:
  • Assist the President in reviewing and making needed changes to the overall organization structure of the College
  • Assist Vice President of Business & Finance in the review and enhancements in the areas of financial management
  • Review of financial operations and activities
  • Assist in the review of past audit concerns and recommendations for the purpose of addressing and eliminating current and future audit findings
  • Assist the President in determining the infrastructure of needs of the campus to include repairs, renovations, buildings and grounds improvements
  • Assist the College in all other areas as assigned
