Livingstone College seeks an Associate Registrar to work in the Office of the Registrar. Reporting directly to the Registrar, the Associate Registrar will be a key member of the enrollment management team, who will work in collaboration with the Registrar to provide academic support, graduation processing, records management, registration, course scheduling, classroom space utilization, transfer services, transcript requests, verification processing, and withdrawals to Livingstone College students.Essential Duties & Responsibilities: The results you will deliver each day that matter most! • Assist the Registrar with administering academic policies; • Maintain accuracy, security, and confidentiality of student academic records at all times; • Prepare, distribute, and receive senior folders for exit interview with faculty advisors. • Record transfer work for transfer students onto transcripts in Jenzabar. • Daily update student info in system to include grade changes. • Prepare enrollment verification rosters for faculty. • Assist with the process of senior degree audits and graduation clearance for prospective graduates. • Serve as a School Certifying Office (SCO) for Department of Veteran Affairs. • Assist with the retention and disposition of student records. • Super office in the absence of the Registrar • Other duties as assigned. Education/ Experience: • Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree preferred. Minimum of three years of professional experience as an administrator in higher education is required. Professional experience in a college or university registrar’s office is a plus. Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
