The Department of Chemistry at Clemson University invites applications for a full-time Lecturer position that begins August 15, 2021. The position involves teaching general chemistry with the possibility organic chemistry.
The goal of the General and Organic Chemistry courses is to provide students with the foundational knowledge that enables success in higher level courses and ultimately STEM related careers. Applicants are required to have a Ph.D. in chemistry or chemical education. A demonstrated interest in teaching first-year undergraduate students is essential, as well as the ability to emphasize conceptual understanding of important chemical concepts and problem solving.
