Normal Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm
Job Summary: The Advancement Coordinator is responsible for development, implementation, and administration of Advancement-related programs including: Alumni relations, Annual Fund, Corporate and Foundation Relations, Board of Visitors, Scholarship, Stewardship and Gift fund.
Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two (2) years of experience in development, fundraising, marketing, sales, or public relations; OR Master's degree and some experience in development, fundraising, marketing, sales, or public relations.
Skills and Knowledge: Strong verbal and written communications skills. Strong planning and organizational skills. Ability to establish priorities. Ability to communicate professionally with a diverse group of individuals. Basic knowledge of the usage of personal computers and standard application software (word processing, spreadsheet and/or database management programs).
Preferred Qualifications: Experience working with scholarships or endowments. Financial management experience.
